Biography

Steve Tompkins hails from Fountain, Colorado and graduated from Colorado State University-Pueblo with degrees in English and Spanish.  He currently works as the ESL Coordinator for Roosevelt-Edison Charter School in Colorado Springs.  Steve is in the process of revising his first volume of poetry entitled Clay County Pastoral and hopes to have it published in 2008.  Recent poems have appeared in Borderlands: Texas Poetry Review, Cutthroat, Nerve Cowboy, and The Hungry Eye.
