Biography

A native of Tennessee, Amie Sharp now lives with her husband in Colorado Springs. She earned an MA in English in 2004 from the University of South Florida, where she studied poetry with Nicholas Samaras, and an MFA in poetry in 2008 from Seattle Pacific University, where she studied with Paul Mariani and Jeanne Murray Walker. She teaches literature and composition courses for Pikes Peak Community College. Her writings have appeared in The 2River View, The New Formalist, The Penwood Review, and elsewhere.
