Beyond The Skin

A workshop designed for men of all ages and backgrounds. Deconstructing identity and machismo, examining the inner person, in effort to create art that matters and redefines who we are as individuals.

Poetashumanos

Discovering fresh ways of looking at our world/ environment/ experiencia, and honing in to inspirational frequencies that inform our writing. Exercises and techniques include: movement, one river writing, visualizations, meditations, sound explorations, as well as, some traditional writing exercises. This workshop is for anyone with a sincere interest in discovering alternative approaches to writing. Writers of all backgrounds, skill levels, and genres will benefit.

Let Colors Fly

This workshop is designed to introduce children to the power of artistic play, including: visual art, writing, and theater.

*Notes

Workshops are primarily geared toward generating written material (poetry, spoken word, stories, performance text, etc…), however individuals of all skills and talents will benefit from the exercises. All workshops include body work, i.e. movement, physical games, and visualization techniques, as well as, writing, and possibly some element of visual art. Most workshops can be designed to compliment the needs of your program.
